T-minus 5 days and counting

Our CSA box begins it's weekly deliveries to Eugene beginning next Wednesday, June 1st. I look forward to it for a number of reasons. Primarily, I am anticipate having a substantial, consistent supply of vegetables. This will encourage me and my partner to cook more often and in a healthier way than we already do. Plenty of weekends, we are too busy or forget to go to the Saturday Market to fill up on produce for the week. If it's something we've paid for ahead of time, though, we won't forget. The other reason I am eager for our CSA to begin is just my genuine curiosity of different fruits and vegetables. I hope to learn about each new arrival and share what I learn here on this blog. *Shot gun firing* Let the season begin!
